"The student is half afraid to meet one of the great philosophers face to face. He feels himself inadequate and thinks he will not understand him. But if he only knew, the great man, just because of his greatness, is much more intelligible than his modern commentator. The simplest student will be able to understand, if not all, yet a very great deal of what Plato said; but hardly anyone can understand some modern books on Platonism." - C.S. Lewis, On the Reading of Old Books

MORE SITE FORMAT PROBLEMS

Apparently HTML handling has changed again, and the lists of works on the top of each author's page now refuses to break into multiple lines. I'm in the process of fixing these and have repaired the most problematic ones, but as I'm also in the process of moving it's likely to take a little while to get to the rest. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As always, if you run across any site issues, please send me an email and let me know. I don't have as much time as I'd like to maintain the site and have to rely on all of you to help me find issues.
